Private Events

The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums are pleased to provide a space rental program enabling members of the general public to host private events across the three-acre museum campus in Platteville, Wisconsin. These event spaces offer historic educational architecture, an 1845 underground mine, and stunning Driftless Area landscape views for your next special gathering.

The beautiful three-acre Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums campus is located on Main Street in Platteville’s historic district. The museum is in the heart of the Driftless Area between Madison, Wisconsin, and the Mississippi River, surrounded by hilly farm country. The museum campus includes exhibit galleries, multi-purpose spaces, and outdoor areas housed in the 1864 Rock School, the 1905 Hanmer Robbins building, and the 1845 Bevans Mine.
