2022 Heritage Day
A Community Celebration For More Than 40 Years! Heritage Day is the annual July 4th community celebration of Plattevilleโs rich history and bright future. It will be in-person on the beautiful three-acre museum campus.
Mine Tours and Train Rides ALL DAY, reserve your spot by registering at www.mining.jamison.museums/tours. Enjoy food from the Platteville Music Boosters. Try unique mining-inspired ice cream flavors created by Pioneer Sweets. Arts and craft kits and instruction.
Free Family Activities include: reading of the Declaration of Independence at 12 p.m., The Wundo Band 12-4 p.m., antique cars and tractors, early American outdoor games, hit and miss engines, and musical Instrument, woodworking, and spinning demonstrations.
