The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums educational programming staff offers high-quality learning opportunities in the areas of nature, culture, and history. We strive for student engagement by offering hands-on experiences that draw inspiration from the museum’s extensive collections. Our group tours and workshops are aligned to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Wisconsin Educator Standards and are designed to meet the needs of your class.

2020 Virtual Field Trip overview

This new experience for students in the Fourth Grade and higher includes a 25-minute video tour of the Bevans Lead Mine together with an introductory presentation, a fully illustrated glossary of vocabulary, an encyclopedic "The Rest of the Story" book of chapters, and lots of optional fun hands-on exercises. Contact us for rates and access to this password-protected complete curriculum.

The Museums are closed for the tour season. Cultural programs and special events are offered year-round, go to our Events page for more information. The Museum will open for tours in May 2021.

Off Season: November - April | Closed
