Connecting the Generations
Nature, culture, science and industry unite in our nook of the Upper Mississippi Valley! At The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums, the pioneering spirit is very much alive โ inspiring young and old to discover the inventions of our ancestors, and to make their own mark in the world while giving credit to the work of our grandparents.ย
Since 1965, the Museum has evolved into a campus with a world-class heritage collection, and we are excited to report that the vision, energy, and support continues to align for Museum revitalization in the years ahead โ thanks to you. Because the Museum is a mission-driven entrepreneurial organization supported by the nonprofit Friends of The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums 501(c)(3) qualified charity, philanthropy has a chance to make a difference for the future of the Museum.
Your gifts both small and large to the Annual Fund ensure that quality operations will endure, and educational programming can continue to inspire lifelong learning for all ages. Field trip scholarships and seasonal festivals like Heritage Day, held on July 4th for 41 years and counting, continue to connect the generations. It is your annual gift to the Friends of the Museums that make this and many other annual learning experiences possible.
Wonโt you please consider making a year-end gift if you have not already? Your support serves as the bedrock for advancements to come. Please help us keep connecting the generations.
If you have given already this year and look favorably on all the museum has accomplished, please consider becoming a monthly sustainer, adopting a Wish List item, or setting up an annual IRA Required Minimum Distribution gift. Add a charitable bequest to the Friends of the Museum in your will and leave a transformational legacy.
