Join us for a fun, interactive workshop about mapping and surveying. Participants will first learn about the first land surveys done of the Lead Mine District. Then, acting as historians, they will engage in an activity of investigating maps, surveyors’ notes, and original documents to come away with a deeper understanding of the early years of lead mining in our region.
